My Pet’s Animal Hospital is proud to announce their assistance to the Internet Miniature Pinscher Service where they work to help rescue Miniature Pinschers!
Read about our friend “Sassy” who recently came
to us from the Internet Miniature Pinscher Service…
“Dear Dr. Donna:
I would like to say thank you, so much, to you , Dr. Mark and your staff for the wonderful and caring treatment Sassy received.
This is a special little girl and I know you could never have imagined how long it would take to do all her procedures. I am so immensely grateful for the discount for her care. I don’t know if we could have done it with regular vet services. If she had been heartworm positive, I would have felt I had no choice but to put her down, which would have been very distressing to me. Thankfully, she wasn’t, and I knew I could proceed to try to find a way to get her fixed up. I am thrilled that you and Christine could work out this option for us.
The immense number of dogs we get are very cut and dry, spay or neuter and possibly dental, but this was a special case. That you could help us with her was very special to me.
Thank you again, so much, for helping her get back to the normal little dog we know she will be.
Sassy: 6-7 yr old black & rust female, docked tail and cropped ears. 8″, 5 lb. Shots up-to-date.
DONATIONS NEEDED… Sassy came to us because a concerned neighbor of her owners gave us a call after the woman said she didn’t want to care for her anymore and she was just going to “just let her go”. She had been kept in a front yard on a rope and the lady was hoping someone would take her. Now, who would take an emaciated little dog that had one dead eye because of neglect, her toenails were curling under and she needed a dental so badly many of her teeth cannot be saved? Sassy needed over 4 hours of surgery and the vet felt he could not finish removing some of her teeth that needed to be removed because she had been under anesthesia too long.
This is the sweetest, most loving little girl! All she wants is to be held and cuddled. She is completely housebroken. However, she is going to need someone who will be able to give her ongoing care for her other eye (dry eye) and her teeth. She is very tiny at only 5.5 pounds. We all know that times are hard, but please donate what you can to help us pay some of the medical expenses for this little furbaby. If you would like to make a donation, please visit http://www.minpinrescue.org/donations.html.
Note: Sassy is located in Tampa Bay, FL – and we can fly this girl in cabin only.
