MyPet’s Animal Hospital offers a wide variety of services striving to meet the needs of all our customers. When you call, please ask our staff about any of these services and we will gladly take the time to discuss what we can do to help you keep your pet healthy and happy.
Preventing illness in your pets can be much easier than trying to deal with issues once they develop. Our Comprehensive Vaccination and WELLness Planns are designed individually for each of our patients and many plans offer monthly payment options. Your pet’s age, weight, breed, and lifestyle are all taken into account to properly address your pet’s needs. We screen for heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes, blood pressure and many other things as a part of our Wellness Plans. Also, antibody tests can be performed to determine whether your pet should be vaccinated each year. These tests are also an excellent solution to pets that have reactions to vaccines.
Emergency vet care is offered during regular business hours. We know that an emergency involving your pet is a terribly stressful event. Our veterinarians use state-of-the-art practices and high tech equipment to quickly asses your pets emergency situation so we may start alleviating their discomfort and therefore start to alleviate yours as well. We believe that compassion and clarity are vital to helping you cope with the situation and we promise to always treat you the way that we, as pet owners ourselves, would want to be treated in the same situation.
Your pet is much less likely to show any signs of discomfort from dental issues. Regular professional cleaning is vital to the health of your pets mouth. We use ultrasonic equipment to ensure that your pet gets the best cleaning possible above and below the gum line. When your pet’s teeth are clean, the surfaces of the teeth are smooth and much more resistant to plaque build up. We offer anesthesia if needed to ensure your pets comfort. Our doctors have the necessary skills and equipment to perform surgical tooth extractions. We use local anesthesia in addition to general to ensure your pet wakes up comfortably.
We offer digital x-ray and ultrasound services for injured and sick pets. With these machines we can better diagnose injuries or disease without using more severe surgeries before we know what’s wrong. This often allows us to make quicker decisions on how to treat your pet in a critical situation.
Laser Orthopedic surgery is used to correct musculoskeletal conditions. These conditions include degenerative joint diseases such as hip dysplasia, or other forms of arthritis. Knee pain and hip pain can also be addressed through orthopedic surgery, as can broken bones and other injuries. Through veterinary laser surgery, a veterinarian can provide orthopedic procedures with less pain, less bleeding, less swelling, a decreased risk of infection, and faster recovery times, among other benefits.
Not every cat needs declawing. When training and behavioral modification attempts have not worked, then it is a choice you can make for your pet. Laser declawing surgery offers less complications and causes less bleeding, and therefore less pain. We perform local anesthesia in addition to general in this procedure as well.
When surgery is the best option for your pet, we offer the most advanced techniques and technologies. Our fully trained staff takes every measure to ensure the safety of your pet during the procedure. Your pet will be fully screened before surgery, and with our laser surgical procedures we work to minimize the recovery time as much as possible.
Whether your pet is in pain following a procedure or from arthritis, we know that treating that pain is what care is all about. Using the latest techniques and the most devoted care, we will work to ensure that your pet suffers as little as possible.
We can provide you with all your pets’ pharmacy needs, and unlike the many online only places, we can talk with you about the medication and your pet specifically. We take your pets needs very seriously, and we want to be a part of their care from beginning to end.
With the popularity of exotic pets growing, it only made sense that we grow to suit that need.
