After an unprovoked cat attack on their 2 year old granddaughter, a couple trapped the cat and turned it into the Hillsborough County Animal Services who later confirmed that the cat had tested positive for rabies. People in the neighborhood have all been informed of the incident and the test results and have been urged to keep their pets indoors and not to let pets or children to wander unsupervised. Please contact your veterinarian to be certain that your pet’s vaccinations are current and up to date as well as to get more information on how to better protect your four legged family.
