Carrie started her journey in the veterinary world in 1997 in Northern Virginia, where she was born and raised. Due to a challenging management experience at the beginning of her career, she made it her goal to one day become a practice manager. She obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration while spending four and a half years as a Certified Volunteer Firefighter/EMT.
Carrie continued her veterinary career when she moved to Florida in the mid-2000s. She has extensive experience as a technician with a passion for dentistry. Carrie started at My Pet’s Animal Hospital in 2017, and not long after, she became an HR/Staff Manager. She became Practice Manager in 2024. Carrie’s goal as a manager is to provide a fulfilling, encouraging, and engaging environment for both our staff and clients. She takes care of every one of our staff members while upholding the values of My Pet’s Animal Hospital.
In her spare time, Carrie enjoys maintaining her greenhouse and orchids. She spends her weekends air boating at the lake with her fiancé. Anyone who knows Carrie, or even steps into her office, knows that Christmas is not just on December 25th for her! She shares her home with three cats, two rabbits, two snakes, two lizards, one flying squirrel, one mixed-breed rescue dog, a parrotlet; and a partridge and a pear tree. (Just kidding!) She also has a
125-gallon aquarium, a pea puffer, and an outdoor pond.
