Dr. Stephanie was born and raised in Lakeland. She received her bachelors’ degree in biology with a minor in psychology from the University of  Florida in Tampa. After graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida, Dr. Stephanie remained in Florida where she practiced as a small animal general practitioner with a special interest in dermatology, dentistry, preventative care, and client education. There are so many other aspects of veterinary medicine, however, that she enjoys and continues to love learning.

Besides her work as a veterinarian, Dr. Stephanie is involved in P.E.O., an organization promoting education for women, as well as being a member of the Lakeland Rotary Club. She is also a member of the FVMA and AVMA. In addition to contributing to the local community, she enjoys helping with international work. Dr. Stephanie spent a short time both in Thailand, working at an elephant conservation hospital, and in South Africa with a mission’s group.

Before completion of her biology degree, Dr. Stephanie spent a few years as a dance major at Butler University and enjoyed dancing all over the country. As a young girl, she had a passion for both the arts and animals of all types and is fortunate to have been able to cultivate both of those loves. Today, she enjoys practicing yoga, Orange Theory, and drawing. She also loves spending time with her husband, Tyler, and son, Theo,  especially at the beach.
